My account is being charged by Roku 5.99 and when I check my account it says I have no subscription
@Suz2Then it is probably a scam. Most likely your credit card has been compromised. Call you credit card company right away. once a scammer has your credit credit card number. They make a small charge for something, hoping you won't notice. So, I'd suggest getting a new credit card with a new number ASAP.
Make sure you contest the charge so you get your money back. I agree that you should have that card cancelled and get a new one with a different number.
Unfortunately scammers have determined they can make false charges to an account and claim to be Roku, hoping the card owner doesn't notice it. When those crooks submit the phony charges, they can make it appear to come from any company they like, as it's just a simple text box they can enter whatever they like. If your Roku user account doesn't show a legitimate subscription, then it's absolutely a scammer.
My account now being charged for discovery plus and I don't have II anymore being charged 8.99 a month
@Lovinnia1 log into your Roku user account and see if it's still listed there. If all you did was delete the channel, that does NOT cancel your subscription. It must be done on the web page.
I use a "virtual credit card" for some of these accounts. Your bank may have them available. Change the card a ROKU to a virtual one and lock the virtual one.
The cards can usually be set up for one vendor or one use, or repeated use.
I have one for my favorite pizza place, the number is only good for them. Even it the card No. is leaked all they can do is order pizza.
