Acorn - Why was I charged for a free trial?

I signed up for the Acorn Channel FREE TRIAL and was charged $2.18 for the FREE TRIAL. And yes, I know that is not a lot of $$$ but I signed up for the FREE TRIAL. I cannot get the page to go to customer service it just loads and loads and loads. How do you speak to and actual person or resolve any issues with Roku? And yes I have tried dif browsers and also refreshing the page many times. Please help me contact someone.
