Account/subscription issues

Jump to solution

I signed up for a free trial of BET...my TV has my payment info, but when I sign into my Roku account on my tablet there is no payment info and no subscription history. How can I cancel that subscription?

Two accounts maybe? If so, how do I find out if I have a second account that I don't remember or...???

@cheryljaster, check the email address that's displayed on your Roku device under Settings->System->About.  If you have multiple devices (or have ever had other devices), it's possible that you have multiple Roku accounts.  You can use whatever email address is displayed to log in at https://my.roku.com to see what subscriptions you have through Roku tied to that account.

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community, @1h!

We apologize for the inconvenience caused when you were unable to add your Newsmax channel with your email and password, and we're here to help!

If you have subscribed to Roku directly, you can only access the subscription using a Roku device or TV. To ensure you can use the channel, please use the same email address you used to purchase the subscription.

To view the email address associated with your Roku device, go to Settings >> System >> About, where you can find detailed information about your device.

If you're looking for more information on How to sign in to watch movies and TV shows, please feel free to check out our support page.

I hope I have addressed your question appropriately, but reply to this message if the above did not fix your issue, and we will gladly follow up.

Best regards,
Jharra

I've tried to "cancel my subscription" as per the instructions, but my account says I have no subscriptions.  My card continues to be charged every month.  I've tried calling, writing letters, emailing and still I cannot get this monthly charge to be stopped.  The charge is for Peacock TV LLC, but Peacock TV says I have to contact Roku to get the charge discontinued.  Roku has conveniently made it so that no one can call or reach them to discontinue.  I've canceled debit cards and received replacement cards, yet Roku still seems to charge the new cards and I know I have not given the new card number.

Did you use a different email address (maybe an old one that you no longer use) when setting up the account?
