Volume skips 3 steps when changing

I have a ROKU TV and recently it started changing the volume by three steps at a time for example 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, etc...

I have searched the settings and don't see anything setting for this. 

I am sure when I first got the TV about 2 months ago it would change the volume by 1 step. 

my remote has rechargeable batteries so can't open this remote. I did try re-pairing and that did not help.

I have a second remote with batteries that does the same thing and re-pairing also did not help so I am thing this something in the TV.

Anyone have any other suggestions or ideas?

    You seem to have an issue while changing the Volume on your Roku TV. 

    To help narrow things down, could you please share a photo of the exact Roku remote model you have? And are there any recent software updates that you know of, before this happened?

    In the meantime, if you haven't tried it yet, let's perform a system restart and see if that helps.
