Hey Nudijoel
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Battery life will vary based on usage. Do you use your remote's private listening feature? This may also be one factor for the battery drain.
Please reply here with the serial number of the Roku device associated with the affected remote. It can be viewed by navigating to Settings > System > About.
Keep us updated.
All the best,
Kariza
Hello,
I, too, am experiencing a very similar issue. My Voice Remote Pro will not hold a charge any more. I've charged it overnight and immediately once I disconnect the charger, I get the 0% message on my screen. Plugged in, it works fine, but no matter how long I charge it for, it dies once disconnected from power. I do use the Private Listening feature, but again, I give it ample charging time. Here's the info you may need below:
Remote Model: RC538
Roku Device Serial: YN00J6901365
Software is updated.
Thank you

Even as of today, I am still having issues. My remote WILL hold a charge but only for a few days. I use my remote with the Private Listening feature almost exclusively.
One thing that I found helps, crazy as it may sound, is to keep unplugging and/or restarting the Roku unit. It will start charging again- to a greater extent eve n though it says 100%.. If I do this all day - restarting and unplug/plug back in, it seems to hold a better/longer charged. Like you, my software is updated. There rechargeable remote is a great feature but definitely faulty.
Good luck.
