I have recently been experiencing this problem. I've restarted my Mac and my Roku. I've unplugged my Roku. I've restarted my modem and router. I had no problem with it before, but now the black screen with AirPlay shows up and it goes back to Home Screen. Meanwhile my Mac will stay in mirroring mode as if it's connected to Roku. It's really quite frustrating.

It does the same thing with my iPhone as it does with my Mac. I'll try to restart the system again. I've tried that several times.
