TV won't show menu after disconnecting hotspot
I use a hotspot to get streaming on my RokuTV. I turn it on/off as needed as to not waste my data. When I'm not using hotspot, I watch live TV thru an antenna. The last 2 days when I turn my TV off and back on, it shows that it's searching for network. It won't stop searching. Won't let me get into my menu or anything. The only way to get out of searching is to do a factory reset, in which case I lose everything. This has never happened before. I used to be able to turn my TV on without being connected to the internet and it would go to the menu.
Help?!
Hi LadyAnanya,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
We understand you are concerned about the Roku device or TV that did not show the menu after disconnecting from your mobile hotspot. We're happy to help.
If your Roku TV or device isn't showing the menu after disconnecting from a hotspot, it's likely because it's no longer connected to any internet network and needs to reconnect to a new Wi-Fi source to access the menu and streaming services; essentially, it's waiting for a signal to load the interface.
Please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
Regards,
John
