Turn off gaming mode permanently

Somebody needs to pay for this flickering annoying **bleep**, I mean legal action, Microsoft or Roku! I have three Onn (Walmart brand) TV's, and unfortunately they all use the Roku platform. I us...

    Well I tried something else and it seems to work for me, might not be a solution for others.

    Go to Settings > TV Inputs > Computer > HDMI mode

    Mine was set to Auto (recommended). I changed this to Compatibility and it's not switching back and forth.

    My use case is just using this as an external monitor for work. It's not actually being used for gaming.
