The TV turns back on after being turned off

This always has worked fine for me for years now, but problem just started happening yesterday on 10/28 (and I see an Update occurred  on 10/28 as well). 

My settings have had "1-touch play" and "CEC" turned on for years now, and it's always worked fine. I always click any button on my Roku remote to turn the TV on, and then hit the Power button on the Roku remote to turn it off.  Since yesterday, now when I hit the power button on the remote, the TV turns off, but then it turns itself back on about 1 minute later.

I thought perhaps a button on my remote was starting to fail and was turning the TV back on, but I do not think that is the case - because if I click the power button to turn off the TV and then IMMEDIATELY take out the batteries from the remote, the TV still turns itself On after 1 minute.  Also, if I manually turn the TV off using the physical power button located on the TV itself, it stays Off and does not turn back on. I see that an update occurred yesterday as well, so I suspect that may be the cause??

    Hey Gary07​

    Sounds like your TV turns off about a minute after you switch it on. Let me gather more info about this.

    • What is the current software version of your Roku device?
    • How often does this issue occur?
    • Do you notice the status light after the TV turns off, about a minute after powering it on?

    For now, try to do a System Restart, navigate to Settings > System > Power > System Restart.

      No that is Not correct - I said My TV turns back ON about one minute after I turn it OFF. 
      I had already tried a System Restart - the problem persists. So I then unplugged and rebooted my entire system (TV, Sound Bar, Roku) - the problem still persists. 

      - It occurs Every Time I turn my TV OFF using the Power button on my Roku Remote.
      - The status light on my Roku box when my TV comes on is Steady White ON. 
      - When I click the Power button to turn my TV OFF, the status light remains Steady White ON FOR 1 MINUTE, Then it turns OFF.  As soon as the status light goes OFF - That's when my TV suddenly Turns ON again.. then a few seconds later the Status Light goes Steady White ON again and remains that way.

      - I generated this Tracker ID as soon as it came back ON:  MF-434-670

      - Here's additional info for my system:
      Model: 4800X - Roku Ultra

      Software Version: 15.0.4  Build: 5534-C2
      GC version: 14.12.14

        Thanks for the info, Gary07​!

        Let us try to check if this is happening on your Roku Ultra while connected to the TV. Try removing all your HDMI inputs connected to the TV.

        Let me know if the issue persists.
