Unauthorized Advertisement or Home Screen Change

I've had it. Every time I sit down to use my ROKU there's another intrusion, advertisement or change to MY home screen and/or menu system that I didn't request or initiate. This **bleep** ends for me today. I'm dropping ROKU like a hot potato and moving on.

It's no different than Android/Google  pushing their bizarre artwork, recommendations and non-stop updates on me every freaking day, and it's no different than Microsoft embedding itself in everything on my PC, then telling me to junk it when there's absolutely nothing wring with it. You've all destroyed the user experience.

    I have had 2 Roku TVs in the past month develop some kind of problem. The first one got stuck in an infinite loop doing a software update. The second has the auto shut-off after 2 minutes problem. A third just went through an update and moved all my stuff around. Frustrating. Can't tell if its Roku, TCL or Samsung problem, and none of them are willing to own up to a problem and fix it.
