Yes. That is the sound that I am referring to at power up/reboot with the dancing Roku letters.
I am not interested in leaving it powered up all day. I don't watch that much TV. And I don't want to waste energy leaving stuff powered on when not on use.
So, bottom line, there is no setting to disable it?

I agree. The startup sound is beyond annoying. I cannot believe that Roku do not afford users the option to disable the noise. Nobody wants to leave their Roku stick powered on for hours at a time whilst they are not watching it.
