Roku Ultra LT not working on TV

I have a 4 year old Roku Ultra LT. It's worked find until now on my small kitchen TV. The light stays on or sometimes blinks but not making connection to my TV. I'm sure the TV is OK and using Ethern...

    We appreciate the information you've provided. Let's see if this works for you.

    1. Connect your Roku device to another HDMI port on your TV.
    2. Try plugging your Roku device into a different wall outlet.
    3. If possible, try to plug your Roku device into another TV to see how it goes.

It's a fairly old, small flat screen TV. What always, normally, happens with this TV- when I use the remote to power up- first the TV comes on and it'll show at the lower right, "INPUT 4". That's the one that works with the Roku. Then I click on the remote again (in the middle), then I normally would see the light on the Roku come on, then within a few seconds I'll see the main menu. Worked perfect for 4 years. Now, I'll see the INPUT 4 on the TV and the ROKU light actually stays on but nothing happens. When I first noticed this problem, that light was blinking with nothing happening. Now it just stays on. I've tried unplugging it then plugging it back on - but it continues with the same problem. My main TV always works differently, like it's supposed to. When I power up the ROKU, the TV automatically comes on. I haven't tried the problem ROKU on my other TV, I'm a bit hesitant to do this because I don't want my main TV to get messed up- not sure that might happen- but over the decades with personal computers, I've seen how easily you can mess up a system by tinkering. Including a photo won't add anything that I didn't say above. I'll repeat, the TV will just show "INPUT 4" while the ROKU light just stays on but the connection doesn't happen- I suspect the ROKU is deceased. Is there a way to truly reboot the ROKU other than unplugging? If that's possible I'd like to try it.

      I tried the problem ROKU on my  main TV but it didn't work- the light comes on as soon as it gets power but it fails to make the connection with the TV. But then when I put my good ROKU back on my  main TV, it didn't seem to work for a while. Tinkering, I got it to work. So, I just bought a new ROKU, the cheap version with only WIFI, no Ethernet. Haven't installed it yet- will do so later today and hopefully it'll work. Thanks for your advice. I'd like to leave this thread open for a few days until I've got the new ROKU installed.

        You can also try using another input than 'input 4'.  Try another HDMI port on the TV or try using another HDMI cable.  Additionally, try using the "Input" or "Source" button on your TV remote (not the Roku remote) and see if you can discover your Roku when powering it on.

        Possible the current HDMI port, or HDMI cable, is having an issue or may not be switching over to the Roku like it did previously.

        Sometimes, unplugging all the HDMI cables and then plugging them in one at a time (ie. plug in Roku, then make sure it is discovered by TV - may have to use remote to swap between inputs to trigger discovery).  If it is discovered, then plug in another device in another HDMI port and repeat procedure, until all devices are discovered.
