We're grateful to have you here in the Roku Community, A_Nelson!
Thank you for letting us know about the issues you've been experiencing with the Airplay feature on your Roku Ultra. No worries! We're here to find you the best resolution possible.
In this case, we suggest rebooting your Roku Ultra through Settings > System > Power (skip if unavailable) > System restart. Also, reset the existing paired devices on your Airplay by navigating to your iPhone's Settings > Airplay > About Airplay.
If the issue persists, we'd be happy to coordinate this with the appropriate Roku team for further investigation. With this being said, kindly provide us with the following details below:
- Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and OS version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
- Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID)
- Your iPhone's IOS version and model.
We'll be anticipating your response as we'd be eager to help you utilize the Airplay feature again.
Best regards,

Having this exact same issue; iPhone music will not maintain connection to Roku TV as music output over wifi connection.
iPhone 12
iOS v: 17.5.1
TCL Model: 49S405
S/N:YN0079389228
Software v: 13.0.0 build 24062-30
Device ID: HJ78A7389228
Tracker ID: 28-239-333
Troubleshooting performed:
Restarted devices (iphone and unplugged roku for greater than 1 min)
Forgot the network on roku via network reset option on roku. Then, re-added network wirelessly.
Issue persists

I’m having the same issue! I’ve already done everything listed and nothing helps. It just keeps disconnecting from my iPhone in the middle of football games that I watch on Sundays. Please further investigate this issue for me so that it can be fixed!

A_NelsonI'd recommend you hunt for an app similar to WiFi Analyzer for Android since its possible the problem is channel congestion. This way you'll be able to see how many others are using the same channel and then log into your router and switch to a different one. Dropped signals, poor speeds or disconnects are often linked to congestion. Best of success regardless!

I’ve been having this issue for at least a year now with every Roku device I use. No resolution. Roku continues to insist that it’s an iPhone issue but I’ve continued to isolate the issue to the Roku devices. I’ve used multiple Apple devices. Multiple Roku devices. Issue is only temporarily resolved when I restart.

- What is the exact behavior of the issue?

In the meantime, could you please send a photo or short video clip of the issue so we can examine it more closely?
We are looking forward to your response.
Thanks,

Same issue persists regardless of how many times I reset. It’s a Roku issue and not an iPhone issue. It started about a year ago or so.
