Forum Discussion
We have had ours up and running since March and it was working well. As of today, it will not stay connected to the internet, including dropping the connection to the remote. We have done as much troubleshooting as we can find online or via the forum, and still no luck. Hoping to get in touch with customer support, but I don't know how to find anyone. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for the post.
We would recommend taking a look a the troubleshooting steps on our Support page here: How do I resolve problems with my Roku® enhanced "point-anywhere" remote?
If you are still unable to resolve the issue, please send me a PM with your Roku account email address, and include the serial number on the Roku device along with a summary of the issue you are experiencing. I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny

Thanks for the post.
Can you provide us more information about the issue you are experiencing? What Roku model device are you using? How are you powering the device? Is the device plugged into a the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet?
With more information we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,

The Rc51 remote is one of the models that we know pairs with 3500 purple roku stick. And I think its UK roku remote.

My remote keeps on un-pairing. In less than 15 minutes, I had to pair my remote. This only happened once a year ago.

Thanks for the information.
Please be aware that the Roku 3 device is an older device and is no longer under warranty. It's possible that the remote may be on its way out.
If you need a replacement remote for your Roku device, you can purchase a Voice Remote from our Products page here: https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/player
Thanks,

Roku remote from streaming stick stops working every few minutes. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps. Reboot, batteries, pairing multiple times. Nothing seems to work.

You might need to disconnect the streaming stick from your television—and possibly unplug the TV for a minute and then reconnect the streaming stick—before attempting to pair the remote. If you try to start the pairing process without resetting the streaming stick, it probably won't stay paired. I don't know why that is, but it seems to make a difference.
Be sure that once you've tried to pair the remote, the little light inside the battery compartment stops flashing. If it keeps flashing, then the remote is trying to pair with the streaming stick over and over again—I think that this is what drains the batteries. If it's successfully paired, the flashing will stop. And remember to wait a few seconds before trying to use the remote after you reach your home screen—if you try to use the buttons before it's ready, it'll seem like the remote isn't working, even though it might work normally after a few more seconds.
