Roku mobile app not connecting after an app update

App was working fine Friday 5/243/25. Went to use it today Tuesday 5/27/25 and it wouldn’t connect to any devices. I updated both the app and the device and even un and reinstalled the app Said device not found. It shows my devices in manage devices setting. But won’t connect. I turned off both the device and the phone still not working. Nothing changed with the network I even unplugged the router and restarted. Nothing is working. Anyone else having this problem?

    Thanks for trying those steps! We understand that your Roku app won't connect to your Roku devices. 

    We'd like to know some information: 

    • Roku mobile app version.
    • Are you using an Android or an iOS?
    • Current OS/iOS version of the mobile device
    • Have you tried using another mobile device to check if the same issue occurs?

      I spoke to a tech via chat and found out my phone was switched to the mobile wifi instead of the house wifi, I didn' even know I had a mobile wifi, my bad. So the roku and phone wasn't wasn't on the same wifi causing it to not find device. Thanks for trying to help!
