Roku TV can't connect to new wifi using Roku app
I have a Roku TV and I just got a new Wi-Fi network . I am using the Roku app as my remote. I am trying to setup the new WiFi network but I can't get to settings on my Roku TV plus my Roku TV is not showing up under devices. It was there before. It's showing under my account.Solved44Views1like2Comments"Your device doesn't meet our security requirements" error on iOS
I haven't been able to log into the mobile app for about a year now similar to many of the other posts here. I've always just gotten a "something went wrong" error but today it gave me something new: "Your device doesn't meet our security requirements because it has been modified or uses untrusted software. To learn more, see the compatibility help page." The compatibility page says I need to be on iOS 14.0 or later. I'm using an iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS version 18.1.1, Roku App version 12.2.0. I have never tried to root or jailbreak my iPhone, modify the Roku app (or any other app), or install mobile apps from anywhere except the official Apple app store. * I have rebooted my phone today and the error persists. * I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app today and the error persists. * I can sign in to the my.roku website and this community forum so I know my password. What steps can I take to resolve this error? Is there any further information I need to provide?1.3KViews3likes30CommentsVolume is very low when using AirPods
I have the same low volume issue with my AirPods. I have hearing loss so I must turn the AirPods up to higher levels than most people and with my new Roku Ultra at full volume they are not loud enough. I do not have this issue with the AirPods connected to other devices. What can be done to increase the maximum obtainable volume?5.2KViews0likes15CommentsRoku App keeps losing connection to the Roku device while idle.
I've been controlling my Streaming Stick 4k + with the Roku ipad app and Harmony Elite successfully for a long time. For the last couple of weeks these controllers work for a short while then stop working. Power reset the Roku and they again work for a short time. If I do not use these controllers for a short while they lose connection, cant give a time but not hours. Roku set to use mobile apps and disabled the "stop streaming after 4hrs" but still fails. Anybody have ideas why Harmony and ipad app both stop working after a short while then reconnect after Roku power reset.Solved156Views0likes12CommentsSet up a preferred App order
When will Roku ever figure out how to allow users to easily set up a preferred App order without having to manually move apps around every time you set up a new Roku device or Roku TV. I have many Roku devices and I want all the sequence of App orders to be the same on all Roku devices. I have a lot of Apps (150+). I am also a little OCD and want all my Roku screens to have the same App order. I shouldn’t have to move around over 150 Apps every time I upgrade to a new Roku or add another device. Please, please, please Roku FIX this. Otherwise the pain of setting up a new device will make me reconsider my preferred streaming system and go with something else that doesn’t have this annoying and time draining poorly designed “feature”. Again, please, please, please Roku FIX this!!!233Views1like1CommentRoku Mobile App plays the Same Episode on "Continue Watching on TV"
As the title suggests, each time I try to use the "Continue Watching on TV" option on the Roku app to pick up where I left off in a TV series on Hulu, the same episode of any given TV show will play, no matter. I only really watch series on Hulu, and each show that I've tried this on produces the same result: the last episode of the 1st season of the show will play when I try "Continue Watching on TV". I recently tested this with American Dad, Abbott Elementary, and Always Sunny, and the result was the same each time. Each of them have different episodes per season, the only thing they have in common is that they're all on Hulu. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix?39Views0likes1Comment
