Hey, ElMUERkO!
We understand that you're also having issues linking your Roku device to your Google Home.
Here's what we would suggest:
- Try a Different Device - If you’re using Android, try linking Roku from an iPhone or iPad instead.
- Clear Cache and Reinstall Google Home- This will restart the app and might fix any glitches.
If it's still not resolved, let us know so we can dig even more into it!

I can't link the Roku from a different device because I only have android devices.
I cleared the cache and reinstalled, and I'm still getting the same error

I tried with my wife's iphone, at first it says 'linked' but right after it says 'something went wrong try again'.

Thanks for the update. Consider trying these steps.
- Restart your Roku and phone, and make sure both devices are connected to the same network.
- Press the Home button on your Roku remote. Go to Settings > System> Advanced System Settings > Select Control by Mobile Apps and ensure it is enabled.
- Ensure the Google Home app is updated to the latest version on your phone.
- Try to link the Roku device to the Google Home app again.
Let us know if that works for you!Roku Community Team

I am getting the same thing. Nothing has worked. Turning two-step off and on, using a different device, using the device and account of a family member in the same house group, nothing. Roku and Google Home refuse to link.
