Roku 3 is stuck on logo screen

Out of nowhere, my Roku 3 is stuck on the Roku screen. Have tried all the fixes I can find e.g. unplugging Roku, unplugging router and Roku, switching hdmi, resetting and all result in the same screen. White light continues to flash.

    Seems like your Roku 3 was stuck on the logo screen, and we're here to help investigate.

    Are there any recent software updates that you're aware of before this happened? Also, have you tried on a different TV and see if the looping persists?

      I don't know if it updated its software just before this started, but seeing as others are experiencing this issue within days of each other,  I am going to guess that their was a software update. 

      It is looping regardless of whether connected to hdmi, ethernet cable, or SD card installed.  I have not tried performing a reset yet, as I wanted to hear from tech support and community first.

        Yes I think a software update is the most likely explanation. I tried everything I could including resetting by the paperclip method and nothing worked.

    same here! started couple of weeks ago... was able to recover after power disconnect, but now is completely stuck in that screen... so frustating... switching to Fire Stick!

      Just buy a new one or move to a new brand.  I tried for months to get help here. No one actually assisted me.  Don’t waste your time. Not saying that to be negative; you’ll be more frustrated if you wait months for help and end up in the same spot like me so just move on…. It’s a shame.

      Still having the same issue despite following what everyone else has suggested.

        Make sure you do a hard factory reset, not a soft reset. Keep the reset button pressed for 30 to 60 secs. Once started it will take you to the configuration screen. You will start fresh (language selection, wifi setup, etc...).
