Re: Sound glitches after some time - high/low and distorted

Sound distortion has happened with a Roku stick. Usually cured by a reboot.

Matter of fact one of the reasons I recently replaced it with a Ultra LT.

Seemed the stick was getting worse.

Today the Ultra started the sound glitching just like the stick did.

Unplug Roku ..plug it back in. Fixed 

Heat issue?

    You’re experiencing recurring sound distortion with both your Roku stick and the new Roku Ultra, typically resolved by a reboot. To find out more:

    • Was the sound distortion happening with specific apps or across all content?
    • Did the issue occur after a certain amount of viewing time, or randomly?
    • Are you using the same HDMI port and cable with the new device? If so, try a different HDMI cable to see if it does the trick.
    • Have you tried switching to a different TV and observing if the issue persists?
