My new Roku device won’t accept password
We had to replace our Roku device. The new one will not accept my Wi-Fi password. I have tried several times and get the red X

What is your Roku model number from Settings/System/About and also what is your router model number?
First thing to try is removing any special characters from your password (just use numbers or letters).
Another thing to look at if using a wifi6 router is that you have WPA2 enabled in the security settings of the router. (only the Ultra 4850 and some Roku-branded RokuTVs cam use WPA3).
Sometimes, just merely restarting the router and the Roku device can get it to connect.
