I have a defective remote that came with my streaming Stick
About 6-months after I received in a box marked SKU#3820R, a ROKU streaming stick and a remote controller. I noticed the stick and controller appeared to stop communicating. It gradually kept getting worse and now it will allow only execution one or two commands before the remote no longer sends or the stick no longer receives any commands. I want to replace it. The remote has no model or SKU number that I can find. Does amyone know what remote model number will provide the functionality and work with the model 3820R streaming stick? Non of the options look exactly the same to me

Only the Voice remote will work with your Stick, that's the $19.99, and two $29.99 remotes. The simple remote will not work.
As for your system, the remote doesn't communicate directly with the Roku Stick, it communicates with bump in the usb cable, which is Long-Range wireless receiver, so it might be going bad not the remote? This:
You might want to try using the mobile app as a remote and if everything is working ok then it's probably the remote.
