Hisense Roku tv rebooting

Hi Roku community,

My TV suddenly started rebooting on its own. It gets stuck on the “Hisense Roku TV” screen, then goes black, and the cycle repeats.

I’ve tried using the reset button and unplugging the power, but neither worked.

I tried checking for a firmware update on Hisense’s website, but my TV’s serial number doesn’t appear in their database.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • My 50r6e3 Hisense ROKU TV suddenly started repeatedly rebooting on its own. It gets stuck on the initial “Hisense Roku ” screen, then goes black, and the cycle repeats.

    I’ve tried using the reset button and unplugging the power, but neither worked. I've spent hours chatting and speaking with both HISENSE and ROKU support and they were no help. Both tell me to contact the other for resolution - which I have done multiple times;

    I tried checking for a firmware update on Hisense’s website, but my TV’s serial number doesn’t appear in their database.

    I also tried the ROKU USB firmware download but I see it requires a 12 digit serial number but mine is 15 digits - 50G20140IH09***. Also, I can't locate the DEVICE ID (a 5 digit alpha numeric code).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
