How to change region and why Roku TV is not showing on my account.
I have had my Roku Express now for a few years. Why I have not resolved this problem before, I can only blame on a senior moment, or moments.
All of the apps showing on my TV screen are American, so most do not work here in Germany. I suddenly realized there are German apps and channels I could be using. Up till now I have only used Roku to watch You Tube videos, and watch Netflix, which I have a subscription to.
I had looked up how to change the region, but when I log into my account it says I have no streaming devices. The thing is connected to my tv via HDMI cable. It works, it's just that it is showing the wrong region.
So my first question is, why does my tv not show. Since it is connected to the TV, and does work.
Secondly, how do I change the region and get rid of all those old American apps. ( I previously used Roku in the USA, so this could be the problem. But it was with a Roku stick, not this thing.
Can someone please help this frustrated Senior Citizen?

I see you're hoping to change your region so you can access German channels and apps.
We recommend creating a new account in your region, then performing a factory reset on your Roku device. After doing the reset, link the new Roku account to the Roku device.
