Error 014.50 unable to connect wireless network

  • Unable to connect to wireless network on my TCL•Ruku TV receiving error 014.50

I have unplugged the TV for 30mins before attempting to connect to my wireless network. I also tried to connect to an alternate wireless network, such as my mobile phone to sill receive the same error message unable to connect to wireless network. My network is working fine on other TV in different room.

        Hey willieq101,

Just to double-check, what troubleshooting steps you've done and tell us more about the issue?

  • That error usually means your device can’t connect to the Wi-Fi network. Try restarting your router and device, make sure the Wi-Fi password is correct, and check if the signal is strong enough. If it still doesn’t work, reset the network settings or reconnect to the Wi-Fi from scratch.

  • This error (014.50) usually means Roku connects to Wi-Fi but doesn’t get an IP address from the router, often due to DHCP or signal issues. Restarting the router or setting a static IP can help. I also found another Roku Community thread where users fixed it by reserving an IP on their router
