My Roku updated software to 14.6.4 build 9914 and now my remote control will not allow any functions, choosing apps etc is like my controller is dead. Works from app remote but not my control4, stopped working properly with last update on 7/3/25. Any suggestions or help?
Check the setting under Settings->System->Advanced system settings->Control by mobiles->Network access. Try setting it to Enabled if it isn't or maybe Permissive.

You are awesome, appreciate the feedback that did it. Was set in Limited mode for some reason. Guessing the last update changed it. Asked my AV guy a few days ago and his response was you need to wait for a patch. Thanks again reno jim.
I was having the same problem and googled it and found the community forum with your information. I checked my settings and found I had that update installed automatically on June 25. It’s not worked since. I’ve talked to Millenium Sounds, the local AV outfit that did the original install, and they wanted to send a technician out at a cost of probably $200 or so. I changed the settings, and presto, were back in business. So I want to thank you, your post saved me some bucks! Blessings to you!
