Can't link other TV to Amazon Alexa

My Roku account shows (correctly) that I have two TVs.

My Roku app only shows one TV in the "Devices in Account".

Both TVs appear on the network and I can control them via the app... but I cannot link one of my TVs to Amazon Alexa because it doesn't appear as a Device in Account on the app.

Thoughts?

  • Hi mcadenhead, this usually happens when the Roku app hasn’t fully synced all devices to your account for voice integrations. Try these steps:

Log out and back in: Sign out of the Roku app, then sign back in to force a full device refresh.

Check device registration: Make sure both TVs are registered to the same Roku account and show as “Active” under your account on my.roku.com
.Reboot the TV: Power-cycle the TV that’s missing from the app, then reopen the Roku app. Update the Roku app: Ensure you have the latest version installed, as older versions sometimes fail to sync multiple devices.                                                                                                                            Re-link Alexa: Once both TVs appear in the app under “Devices in Account,” try re-adding Roku in the Amazon Alexa app and discover devices again. If it still doesn’t show up, contacting Roku Support can help refresh your account and resolve hidden sync issues.

We see that you're having trouble linking your other Roku TV to Amazon Alexa. To connect an additional Roku device, you can try the following steps.

    1. Launch the Alexa mobile app
    2. Tap the Menu icon in the corner
    3. Tap Settings and scroll to TV & Video and select Roku from the list.
    4. Tap Disable Skill on the next screen, select Disable
    5. Tap Enable to Use and complete the linking process.
