good afternoon,
It does not state that it has to be turned on. It says if it is turned on then you will have to do these following steps . Also the app gives you an option. if the app is closed and re opened it will ask for the code again no matter if you put the log in info in. Can you tell me why it is an option, the link you sent says its an option, but you are telling me there is no option? Thank you

It looks like your Roku Smart Home app keeps asking for a code every time you open it. Heads up, every time you turn off the two-way verification on the Roku Smart Home app, it will ask you for a code every time you open it.
Also, two-step verification can't be turned off permanently for account security. When you turn off the two-way verification in the Roku Smart Home app, it's only to update or add a new phone number for verification. For more details, visit this link.
