    Video Doorbell not getting event notification on Roku Premier

    I am having same issue with Roku Premier streaming device. I have followed steps above and do not receive notification on the TV the Roku Premier is connected to.

    Recover Camera Events from the Past 14 Days

    Hello, I have indoor camera's, I thought my account had been hacked and I messed up by deleting my roku account and did a factory reset on my TV. I habe a subscription and need to know if my footage of the past 14 days can be recovered or is it gone forever? Im in the process of evicting roommate and really need the footage on there. If I can recover, what are the steps to recover it? Thanks in advance!

    Camera video not recording entire events

    Since around the first week in July 2025 my cameras do not record the entire event. When a person, vehicle, etc. triggers an event, the still snapshot of the person or vehicle is captured in the event list. But, when I click on the video and play it, the video seems to start a couple of seconds after when the snapshot had happened. This being the case, the video does not show the important part of the event. I feel like Roku must have done an update to their system sometime around when this problem started happening. I have cameras connected at different locations and it happens to all cameras. Each of these locations has a different internet provider, so it is not an internet provider problem or any problem or change on my end. I have not changed any settings and this problem started occurring on all cameras in all locations at the same time. Also, when I view my events, the "motion rectangle" never shows up anymore in the videos to highlight the area that triggered the video. I have a paid subscription.

    Shutting off the spotlight in live view does not work

    I set up my camera a few days ago. Shutting off the spotlight in live view does not work. This is my second battery camera since June 2025 with issues.

    Outdoor Battery Camera records short videos only

    I just want to make sure I understand this, outdoor cameras records a very short video (20 seconds or so) and there is no way to extend this?? Is that really the case? None of my cameras have a SD card slot on them

    Smart Home App events. No Delete Button

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Smart Home App but can not delete events. I can go to events and go to the edit (pencil) and select all. App will select all but there is no button to delete the items selected. How can I delete all items for a specific day. Thanks in Advance.

    Camera Viewing on MacBook Air

    Hi, I'd like to request an app for my macbook air to view my camera fullscreen. I want to see outside, and my windows are too high sitting at my desk. If i could view my camera on my macbook air, i could have a nice outdoor view while i sit at my desk. Thank you, Debbie

    Can't delete Event image from Video Doorbell

    I have same problem, since July 16 2025 ,I can no longer delete photos,have about 50 ,can't do it from events,or if I go live, have dates and times , I got 3 dots, box comes up delete or cancel, I got delete,shows failed. Roku support said I must have old version of smarthome,wanted be to uninstall and reinstall which I have done at least 10 times in last week. Tried to explain to dumda** that under Google play store,there is only one app for Roku devices. He still didn't get the picture. I have bought 3 tv remotes, 1 doorbell camera and pay Roku for 3 streaming services. I bout 3 new smart tvs last year,I am pulling plug on Roku HDMI ,going to use smart apps, throwing doorbell camera in trash. Going to go straight to Philo,Hulu,Netflix, Paramount, and Peacock to pay them directly ,already registered a complaint with BBB about spending $300 with Roku and they are saying it's my Smarthome app causing the problems. Also have started Google reviews on both Walmart for selling Roku devices and on Roku itself telling everyone go to Ring,Nest, or Arlo. The support person also said my SD card maybe the problem, told him he is a funny guy, didn't even know that their video doorbell camera won't accept an SD card. He kept wanting to know what version my Smarthome app was,I kept explaining to him I had just downloaded it 10 minutes earlier, only version on Google play,but he kept insisting on knowing the version, kept telling him it don't matter,on Android there is only one version and I had just downloaded it. We all know,Roku has got GREEDY, wants you to pay subscription, I had Merkury cameras and kept refusing to pay $4 a month per camera for storage to could,had SD cards, so after aboutb18 months after purchased them and kept refusing to pay Merkury for camera storage on Geeni app, the cameras would drop off line every day or two, I finally trash canned them so Merkury is just like Roku, good price at purchase time, but when they think they aren't going to get another penny they start messing with your privacy and security.

    Events triggering in exclusion zones

    Hello, My Roku camera is triggering events in the detection zone where movement is supposed to be ignored. Not sure why. Currently, the motion detection sensitivity is set to 50 by default. Will changing the sensitivity have any effect on the exclusion areas? In doing so, will the areas where I want the events to triggered be negatively effected? I welcome your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks!
