Hey, Gijasmine05
It seems that you are having issues with the two-step verification that turns on by itself even if you want to turn it off.
Just a heads up that using the Roku Smart Home app requires enabling two-step verification to keep your Roku account and the app secure. Disabling it is not permanent.
To know more about two-factor verification on the Roku smart home app, just visit this link.
Thanks,

Why is an option on the app to turn it off? Also so that means only one person can watch the cameras? Most houses have more than one person living at houses.

You can turn off the two-step verification, but it won't stay off forever. Just keep in mind that anyone in your household can access it from different devices.
The trick is to use the same login details and avoid logging out of the Roku Smart Home app on their devices. This way, they won’t have to go through the two-factor authentication every time they want to check the camera.

This is a horrible solution, many of us turn off our phones at night forcing us to go thru the (totally unnecessary for this sort of app) the stupid 2-step verification all the time. This needs to be OPTIONAL and user controlled. I will be returning the cameras I just bought & selecting something more user friendly.
