Roku Indoor Camera SE Model CS1000X won't scan the QR code

I bought three of these cameras One connected perfectly fine The other two did not scan the QR code, I have tried plenty of things like searching up solutions, reading and finding solutions in the Roku website which I tried and none of them worked, and more. The camera lenses are clear with no scratches on the camera, and no marks on the camera lens. The other two cameras that won't scan the QR code says ready to connect then I move the camera in front of the QR code to scan it and it does not work at all, The screen is clear, The screen is bright, I even tried moving it up and slowly moving it down which did not work. The camera and the phone are both close to the router (2.4) Wi-Fi.

Edit: Originally all 3 were connected to one Wi-Fi ( my old house and old Wi-Fi, setup April 2024 disconnected for move at March 2025 ) then I moved and tried setting up them at at the new house and Wi-Fi and 1 connected fine and the 2 others didn't scan the QR code. ( 1 camera was in a separate box then the 2 pack camera box, which I don't know which cameras came from which pack. )

    Hey CantScanQrCode

Thanks for letting us know about the issue with scanning the QR on your Roku Indoor Camera. Just a quick note, the QR code on the screen will last for 5 minutes only.  Can you tell us a bit more about it so we can take a closer look?

    • Have you tried to wipe the camera lens and the mobile screen for a clearer vision?
    • Also, did you attempt to adjust the camera while scanning the QR code on the screen?
    • Could you try another mobile device to set up your cameras if the issue occurs?

In the meantime, feel free to visit here for more tips!

    Please keep us posted!

      Thanks for the update, CantScanQrCode

It appears that the issue occurs after trying some workarounds. Before trying another mobile device, try to adjust the brightness of your phone, either by increasing it or decreasing it. Trying it on a tablet, which has a larger screen, is better.

Let us know how it goes!

I have tried the first 2 things that you have mentioned, I might be able to try another mobile device later today.

Edit: Also I scanned the QR code as soon as it showed, which did not work. ( Within 5 minutes )
