Roku indoor camera SCS11X not connecting to WiFi
I bought two brand new Roku cameras from Walmart. I can get to the part where they ask me to put in the password for the Wi-Fi. I have checked the Wi-Fi. It is 2.4. I have restarted and unplugged all devices and tried a different mobile phone and a different app to set up. Nothing is working to get these cameras to work I can’t get it to get let me hit the next button to get past where it’s asking for the Wi-Fi password157Views1like11CommentsRoku Battery Camera cannot get past the setup.
Just bought this device on sale at Amazon for $59, hoping to set it up on the deck outside (description is that it is both indoor and outdoor), and cannot get past the setup. The Roku smart app got me started, but after scanning the qr code on the back of the 'station,' it wants me to type in a MAC address (which it states is on the back also), and there is NO "MAC" on the device, so I tried typing in one of the identification numbers, and the error code was that MAC numbers only use the numbers 0-9 and letters A-F. Nothing like that is on the back of the station!! Help.119Views1like2CommentsIndoor camera setup mode issue
Have setup 8 or so other indoor cameras without trouble over the past 2 or 3 months. 1 just 2 hours ago. But have 2 others to setup and neither one will even respond to the setup button when pressed. They power led is always solid red. There is nothing wrong with my wifi network. All other cameras are working fine. This is definitely a hardware issue. Any assistance would be great. Thank you much.Solved434Views1like5CommentsRoku Camera SD card not detected
Roku just sucks for smart home (fact that you cannot look at what is on the sd card in the app and have to plug it into a computer is pathetic in 2025). What I found is if I boot up the camera with no sd card, push in sd card it then will ask to format. If I reboot after this is fails to get seen again.Solved664Views0likes5CommentsDetection Zone setup
You say, "usually the shaded area" shouldn't this be either one or the other? Is it, or is it not the shaded area that is the detection Zone? If not what situation would make it one or the other or both? Why can't this be a direct answer? I've been toggling with this for so long I'm ready to go with another Securiry camera company. Please confirm a direct answer to the orignal question. Thank you for your follow up.Solved2.3KViews0likes10CommentsHow to connect an Outdoor camera to a Solar Panel?
I recently purchased two Battery Camera SE cameras. I was told they would work with the Roku solar panels. The problem is that the SE uses a usb-c cable and the solar panels have a male micro-usb plug. Does Roku make an adapter? If so, why is it not included with either the camera or the solar panel?153Views1like8CommentsRed flashing light on the Roku indoor 360 camera

I plugged in the camera and the red light will not blink to allow setup. I have tried the following: unplugged and plugged back in (multiple times) held the setup button for 10 seconds through over a minute. plugged into multiple outlets tried using the cord of another Roku outdoor wired camera (same model, that camera works and wanted to test if it was an issue with the power cord, it did not work). I have read through the comments of others who have had this issue and did every troubleshooting process that was suggested. Nothing is working. Can you help me?48Views0likes2Comments
