No Audio when watching web videos on smart TV

My new stream bar is connected to my LG smart TV via HDMI-ARC. No issues when streaming thru the Roku device or when watching Direct TV. My problem is I get no audio thru the device when I watch apps on my smart tv or more specifically, when I watch any video on the web on the smart TV (which is the real issue). I’m pretty sure it’s in my set up but I cannot figure it out or find a solution. Thank you

    You're on the right track, suspecting a setup issue with this LG Smart TV and Streambar. 

    Here are some things we need to check:

    • .Enable ARC and CEC on your LG TV. You may need to reach out to LG support for further help.
    • Change Digital Sound Output Format. This can be found in your LG TV settings. Try searching the steps in your TV's manual or contact the LG team for help. 
    • If your LG TV has an optical audio output, you can connect that to the Roku Streambar’s optical input as a backup.
