No sound on Roku Streambar SE

The streambar se used to work fine(a nightmare to set up with what felt like 2 male plugins making me feel like I broke the unit .purchased at best buy. No longer have the receipt. Connected to a Sony x85k tv. Anyway it was working fine then all the sudden no sound anywhere except the HDMI3 where it's connected to the streaming system. Sound there but not anywhere else. Had to factory reset the last time but even then I'm not sure how it connected when I kept on getting an error message but then randomly worked. I'm not doing that again so no sound. May unplug and never use again..what's the problem? Why was it a 2 male end plug. I can't get my money back so 80 bucks wasted. Cec should have been working. This thing is a stressful Nightmare. Not to.mention the out of sync issue the first time.

The brand new Roku Streambar will not connect to the Samsung TV through the HDMI ARC connection.

My Samsung TV has an HDMI arc outlet, to which I'm connected. The streambar will not communicate correctly. The CEC is turned on. I've checked all the connections twice, unplugged and replugged to power and turned the CEC off and back on. All to no avail. Help!

    Can’t connect the LG soundbar

I have an LG soundbar I’m attempting to connect to my Roku TV. I’ve tried Bluetooth connection, no luck. I then tried an optical cable and still, no luck. I’ve already switched audio output settings to be optical when trying the optical connection but it still won’t work. Any tips? I appreciate any help I can get. Not sure why these TCL Roku TVs come without any TV speakers…

Roku Wireless Speakers with a TCL TV.

I have a pair of Roku Wireless Speakers and a TCL Roku TV. I am going to purchase a NEW TCL TV that uses Google OS and not Roku. If I understand correctly if I purchase a sound bar the Wireless speakers will work with the new TV. If correct, which sound bar should I purchase? Thx

Stream music to the sound bar without the TV turned on

I just set up a new Roku Streambar. It is connected to my Samsung Smart TV with the hdmi arc cable port. Everything works as expected. I am streaming music from my ipad itunes library. I would like to be able to play/stream the music without having the TV turned on but cannot seem to find how to do that. I read the info about using Fast Start but that option is not available in the Roku settings menu. Is it possible for me to stream music from my ipad without having the TV turned on? Thanks!

Using Roku Streambar SE with my TV and another audio source

I want to connect the streambar to my TV using the HDMI-ARC ports in my TV and the bar. At the same time I want to connect other purely audio devices (such as a CD player) to the Roku soundbar using the optical port. In other words, I would like to "sometimes" use the streambar as a simple speaker for my audio player, not as a video source. Can I do that? Can I switch the audio source for the Roku soundbar between HDMI and optical inputs on demand? Using the remote?

    Bluetooth Headphones setup

Hello, So I have encountered a problem while trying to set up the wireless head-phones that we provide to our clients to the as we are a treatment facility where we have 40 Beds and 20+ Roku TVs and another brand TV. We have had no problem connecting them to the other brand but after reading reddit posts and Roku Community posts people have been needing to connect to their phones in which they don't have access to while in treatment. Is there a system download we should add? Thank you in Advanced!
