No local channels found when using Roku Streambar SE

I have a Roku TV and recently brought a Roku Streambar SE to add a comfortable listening listening environment for my Senior Parent during shows AND commercials. It is upsetting that the local channels are not available. I am not looking for news channels. While I have been a mostly satisfied customer of Roku TV's, this experience of continually purchasing products to watch TV to my comfort is ridiculous. Especially having to purchase specific products that makes me have to buy more specific products.

    Sorry you’ve had to jump through hoops. Roku Streambar SE is purely an audio add-on and doesn’t include a built-in tuner. That means it can’t pull in over-the-air local channels on its own. 

    Roku Streambar SE isn’t a replacement for your TV’s tuner; you still need that antenna (or a live-TV streaming service) to get locals. Think of the Streambar as an amp for your TV’s audio rather than an all-in-one box.

    That way, you’ll get both your OTA channels and the boosted Streambar SE sound your parent wants, without chasing another gadget.
