    Roku Streambar and Hearing Aids

I am trying to connect a Resound TV Streamer 2 to my Roku Streambar SE so that I can simultaneously listen to the TV through my hearing aids while other family members listen through the Streambar speaker. The optical plug on the Roku seems to be an input and not an output so it does not supply sound to the Resound Streamer 2. I had hoped that because HDMI/ARC is a 2-way connection, that the Roku Soundbar sound would flow back to the TV and I could use the TV's digital output, but no sound there as well. I've seen the suggestion to use private listening. This works fabulously if I am watching alone, but doesn't help when other people watch with me, as private listening mutes the Roku speaker. Has anyone found a solution that allows simultaneous listening through hearing aids and the Roku Streambar speaker?

Enable spatial audio support for the Roku app on iOS.

With the Roku app on my iPhone, I can listen to streaming content using headphones in "Headphone Mode". I use AirPods Pro, which have spatial audio capability, but unfortunately, the Roku app doesn't support it natively—only stereo sound is available. Since Roku supports wireless audio over Wi-Fi with the iOS app, it would be great to enjoy surround sound through compatible headphones on iPhone and iPad.

Roku streaming soundbar remote won't work

I can't seem to get my roku soundbar to respond to my remote. It will not pair, I can't get the remote to respond to the soundbar at all. The TV recognizes it, just can't get any sound, nor control anything on the TV. If I hook it up to a roku tv tge sound works but remote doesn't. I'm trying to use it with an order smart Samsung TV. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, I haven't found anything that seems to work.

Distorted and static audio in Roku Soundbar

The audio frequently deteriorates when watching TV with our Roku soundbar. Voices are distorted, and there is static. Eventually the sound just stops altogether. The only ways to fix it are to leave the channel and come back to it, or if this doesn’t work, reboot the system completely. We also have issues with the soundbar player just rebooting on its own. This is infuriating.

    Streambar 9102R - Static sound

My 9102R Streambar just developed the dreaded static issue. This is the 2nd one I have owned and both have experienced the same issue. The first one I purchased had the static (sounds like blown speaker) issue out of the box. Roku replaced it and now the replacement has started doing it out of the blue. I have tried power-cycling as well as other sources and HDMI cables. Streambar software is up to date. I have researched this issue and it is ALL OVER the Roku community forums. Is there going to be a recall or any recourse for this issue? Serial Number: YL0001196108

Streambar is not playing the stereo channels correctly

The issue I’m having is that it seems that the streambar sound doesn’t play the stereo channels correctly. Example: say I’m watching a music show like The Voice, the sound is fine when the judges speak, but when it goes to the performer sings the volume is very low. When it goes back to the judges the volume is back to normal. I am connected with the hdmi cable to a onn roku tv. This happens whether it’s using cable or through a WiFi app. I’m puzzled. This also happens with sports broadcasts as well.

Blocking others from casting audio to Roku streambar

Is there any way to block this? My settings are supposed to allow only limited access and prompt for permission in order to cast. Furthermore, no one else is on my WiFi. Yet at least once a month I am blasted out of bed by my neighbor’s audio pouring out of my streambar.

Changing sound mode on Roku Streambar

I have a TCL (Roku) TV connected to a Roku Streambar thats linked to 4 wireless roku speakers. When I watch movies in say, Netflix, I want the sound mode to be in "movie" mode. But if I want to play music via the Spotify app, I then need to switch to "music" mode in order to make the music play through all of the speakers (or else it only plays music through the two front speakers) I have to manually change it each time (and then remember to change it back when watching content). Is there a way to automatically do this?

    StreamBar Pro volume issues

I bought and have connected a streambar pro and two Roku wireless speakers and connected everything but when I play music through Spotify the music only plays through the two wireless speakers. The streambar is connected with them as I can barely hear it produce some sound when I play the Roku cinematic sound video on the home page or through the occasional messing around with other things. overall though the stream-bar pro just seems to produce little or no sound at all. If I can’t resolve this issue I will just have to return it cause it honestly just seems pointless if the two wireless speakers are the only ones producing any notable volume. Which is a shame cause I was super excited to buy the stream bar pro but it honestly has been a major disappointment in its output. please help cause I would love to have an amazing audio system like it’s marketed to be.

Audio HDMI arc not working after update

I have the exact same issue with my Roku Streaming Stick 4k. Was working before November. Now, no sound for any other inputs through ARC. The only thing that works is TV speakers. After unplugging Roku and restarting the TV/soundbar, ARC works fine. Plug Roku in again, back to TV speaker. Setup: TV: LG OLED65B6P Soundbar: Sonos Beam v1 Roku: Streaming Stick 4k - 3820X - S/N S08Y424TFG70
