Roku Wireless Speakers won't pair on Roku TV

I've tried all of the troubleshooting tips found here. My wireless speakers won't pair, only one will play the pairing message, but both are connected to power and are working. I've tried on three different Roku TV's now, none of them will pair with the speakers.

Please don't give me troubleshooting tips, I have been through all of those. How can I get this fixed?

  • My Roku wireless speakers were working fine until a few days ago.  Noticed the left stopped working and tried to reset and reconnect both.  Now neither will pair with the Roku TV.

I have a Roku TV with 2 Roku Wireless Speakers. I initially paired and set up the speakers without issue following steps provided. After a recent software update on the TV however, my speakers unpaired.

I have followed all following troubleshooting tips I can find online and on these forums with no success:

    1) Unplugging and plugging the speakers back in

    2) Moving speakers closer to TV

    3) Restarting Roku TV

    4) Factory Reset on Wireless speakers

    5) Factory reset on Roku TV

My Roku TV still will not re-pair to my wireless speakers

    Current Setup:

    Roku TV - Model: 65R4AX , Software Version: 14.1

Roku Wireless Speakers - Model: 9020X

Also just curious if your TV is wireless or wired? If it's wired, you can try to unplug the ethernet cable, restart it and try repairing the speakers. Then plugging it back in.

    Gamertag3110,

Thank you for posting in the Roku Community!

We appreciate you contacting us about your Roku Wireless Speaker, we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the setup process. We're pleased to assist.

We are providing some steps to try below, but can you let us know where the pairing failure occurs?

    - speakers not detected
    - speakers detected but are not pairing
    - speakers paired but SW update update fails

We recommend going through the following steps.

Get the latest software for your Roku TV

    1. On the Roku TV home screen, go to 'Settings'
    2. Select 'System'
    3. Select 'System update'
    4. If a software update is available, allow it to download and restart the TV.

Pair the speakers again after the software update has been completed

    1. Unplug the power cord from each speaker
    2. Reconnect the power cord to each speaker then follow the voice guide

If no software update was available and it indicates you are up to date, you may need to restart the TV by unplugging and reconnecting the TV's power cable and letting the Roku TV restart. Then unplug/reconnect the power cables from each speaker and follow the voice guide.

For detailed information, please refer to this link: How to resolve issues pairing your Roku wireless speakers.

Please keep us posted on what you find out and we will be happy to continue assisting you further.

    Thanks,
    Arjiemar

The speakers are not detected when pairing on any TV. I've completed factory resets on 2 tvs and that didn't help.
