Someone else's max account on my tv.
I recently noticed that the max icon was on my tv. I didn't install it, so i figured it was another roku update where they put channels on my tv I'm never going to watch and have to delete it. I open...
"My tv has never belonged to me" - I'm guessing that's not what you meant.
Since an app appeared that you didn't add, it's likely that there's another device somewhere linked to the same Roku account as your TV. Check the email address that's displayed under Settings->System->About. Is it yours? If so, use that email address to log in at https://my.roku.com and check the list of devices that are linked to that account. Are there any you don't recognize? While you're there, you might want to check the subscriptions that you're paying for through Roku. You may be paying for that MAX subscription.
