I am struggling to get the NowTV app to show on the main menu (using Roku stick).
I can search for it and it only gives me the option yo open the app … I presume it’s preinstalled.
But it does not add it to the Home Screen so every time I want to watch nowtv, I have to search for it
am I missing something here

It looks like you have an issue with the NowTV not showing on the homescreen.
Here's what I can suggest. Let's try updating the device's software by navigating to Settings > System > System update > Check now. Once you've done this, try to see if the NowTV app appears on the Home Screen.

Managed to fix it with the help of tech support. Had to connect my phone to the Roku device. Find the NowTV app and remove it. Then re-add the app and then launch it.
it now appears on me devices menu on the TV.
they think there was a glitch with the NowTV app that had been pre-installed on my Roku stick.
