Paramount+ standalone app is not available on Roku TV

How do I log on to my paramount plus account from Walmart on my Roku tv. There is no "stand alone" paramount app only one that is paramount plus Roku.

  • Hi UseU2

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you wanted to access your Paramount+ app.

I recommend contacting the Paramount channel provider to verify the login credentials. As they handle your account and are the only ones who manage the subscription. You can contact them at this link.

    Thanks,

There is only one app/channel for Paramount+. The app in the channel store is the one you want.

I don't know what you mean by "from Walmart". I don't subscribe to Paramount+, so can't advise how you log into your account. But assuming it's similar to something like Disney+ or MAX, you simply use your account credentials for that provider. You don't log in with your Roku user credentials.

That is no true, because in the roku tv they force you to pay $6 for the subscription and there is no way to get your provider.  Is there another way???

I’ve only been able to get in on tv by mirroring from my iPhone

What she’s talking about from the Walmart app on the smartphone. I’m having the same issue. My Roku tv won’t let me connect to Paramount +. It asks for my password. I put it in and it tells me I’m wrong!?!? So, how do I log in??

      Thanks

    Buckster75-

You're asking about logging into a Paramount+ account that you get as part of your Walmart+ subscription, right?

How do I log into Paramount Plus with my Walmart subscription?

    To sign up:
    1. Go to your [Walmart] Account page.
    2. Select Walmart+.
    3. Find Video Streaming with Paramount+ in the Benefits Hub.
    4. Select How Streaming Works to learn more.
    5. Select Get Paramount+.
    6. Create a Paramount+ account. You must use the same email for your account with Walmart+.
    7. Build your profile to start streaming.

  • Go to search on the home page.

Pan all the way the right and scroll down to Popular Apps to find Paramount+ then enter.

Select add app and follow directions from there.

It took me a long hit or miss time to finally find the solution.  I hope this works for you and others.

  • After you have signed up for the free paramount  account in the Walmart+ go to the Roku Home page on the TV. Scroll down to Streaming Store and enter. In this screen there are two Paramount apps. You do not want the App: Paramount + on The Roku Channel!  You want the app that only has Paramount+. ( Apps that say "on Yhe Roku Channel" will need to be billed  through Roku.) Add the App to your screen and enter. It will ask for your email address and passwork. Once completed  scroll up the info bar above your profile pic  to Paramount + and enter to see account info. Enter manage plan and it shouls tell you you signed up via Walmart+. You are done.

  • Go to search and type in Paramount. There is Paramount plus and there is Paramount plus Roku Channel. Select Paramount Plus channel ONLY. From there, you can sign in after creating your Paramount plus account directly from Walmart site.

That doesn't work either.  Roku wants paid, it doesn't matter which app you try.
