I am very familiar with pressing the "*" button while the app is highlighted on my Roku screen to remove that channel, and moving the arrow up to select "Remove Channel". The problem is that after doing that 2 specific channels re-appear after a day or two: AppleTV and Vix. I don't like anything Apple, and Vix is a Spanish language channel and I don't speak Spanish. I just fail to understand that after following your procedure to remove a channel they keep reappearing in a day or two, it is very annoying,
As for "Automatic updates", my two Roku Ultra players both received the OS 12.0 update last weekend, but two new channels appeared this morning: Crunchyroll and QVC/HSN. I removed them, and will be annoyed if they reappear. I know how to add channels that we may be interested in, Roku does not know my interests, so let me be judge of what I may be interested in.
Finally, my Roku password is a mix of Uppercase & lowercase letters + numbers + a special character, so I'm confident no one is accessing my Roku account.
