That does NOT stop it from happening in the future as your answer states. I have to physically remove that stupid VIX channel several times a week and it’s really starting to piss me off!
I’m doing the removal via Settings so don’t know how else to remove it permanently. I remove it and Roku keeps trying to force me to have it in my channels! I think they (Roku) are trying to convince the VIX channel owners that the station is in more households than it really is….like they’re inflating the numbers. I can’t think of any other reason why a platform would aggressively keep trying to force customers to add a channel they didn’t ask for and don’t want. That’s a sleazy business practice if that’s what’s happening.
greyzoned, disable the screensaver and see if the problem goes away.

I have no screensaver. This is not on a computer or smart TV. It's a projection system.

So you have already disabled the Roku screen saver? (It's on by default.)

oh wait a minute - I completely missed your point. No. let me try that and see what it does. The interesting thing is that this happens on only ONE of the four Roku devices. But let me try it and see if that resolves the issue.
