HBO Max app is not working anymore

The HBO Max app on my Roku TV has stopped working a few weeks ago. The app just gets hung up. So far I have tried the following:

-updated the tv software 

-updated the app

-Uninstalled and reinstalled the app

-the tv is unplugged daily (used in backyard)

-Performed a factory reset

None of these have worked. My other streaming apps are working without issue. The HBO Max app just gets hung up even after reinstall, I don't even get to the screen to sign in.

Please help!

    We understand you're having a problem with the Max app. After attempting the troubleshooting steps, I found that videos from other apps play fine. Contact the App provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help. The app developers themselves maintain apps on Roku. In this case, an issue within that specific channel likely needs to be addressed with an update from them.

      When a Roku moderator marks something as "solved", I'm guessing they really mean "closed".

        So I was able to get through my HBO Max problem by removing and reinstalling the app.

        Then it started up on Hulu. 

        I dig Roku, esp the Apple Display sharing, but I hope the apps on the platform seem more reliable over time... sitting at an endless title screen stinks
