BritBox Subscription Upgrade Error message

I’m using the Britbox app with my subscription. I tried to upgrade to “premium” inside the app but received the following message:

“This Britbox account is associated with a different ROKU pay account. Please login with your ROKU account to manage your subscription”.

However, I’m logged into my ROKU account account already and my subscription is through ROKU.

What does this message actually mean?

    It appears you're experiencing issues upgrading the BritBox app due to your account being associated with a different Roku pay. 

    In this case, we suggest reaching out to our Account, Payments, and Subscription Team via our support website. Once there, click on "Start chatting" at the bottom of the page for further assistance.

      The solution is to cancel the subscription through ROKU and to subscribe directly with BritBox.
