[Solved] Max App Crashing to Home Screen?

  • We are having a new problem with the Max app crashing back to the home screen. The profile screen comes up, we select a profile, it takes us to the main Max screen then after a few seconds we are taken back to the Roku home screen. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, didn't help. Anyone else?

        Just happened to me, too. About time to dump Roku altogether, disconnect this TV from the network and attach a mini PC to get solid performance of apps., Roku seems like a poor way to deliver this when an old PC running a Linux distro connected to the TV performs better.

      Yes. Happening to us too, on a Roku Pro TV. Deleted the app, restarted, added the app back… still doesn’t work. Other apps are working just fine

      Mine is crashing after opening the max app and selecting my profile it simply crashes back to the roku home screen after loading my profile. Max ap ver 58.16 build 1 roku model 4802rw- roku ultra software ver 14.5 . I have uninstalled updated and taken all steps offered by support with no resolution.

    I'm still getting a dark screen after just 10 minutes. I go to a new channel,good for 10 minutes and dark again.

      I should have mentioned the issue is while watching life tv.
