Recently bought a 4k streaming stick for a new tv. Setup was easy per usual but the TV volume and power control both work erratically, the volume button may take it up 1 number or 10 . No rhyme or reason, and sometimes not work at all. Power button as well. I’ve re paired it, changed from IR to CEC. If I repair via CEC it will work correctly immediately after but after not using it for awhile it starts again. Repairing the remote constantly has made me regret this purchase entirely. I have many Roku TV’s and several express deals without tv control. Never an issue with any of those. And I can’t pair a different remote to that stick given I have probably 6-7 because it’s unique being a voice control remote .

I just got this Roku yesterday, and it worked fine. The volume buttons no longer work, but all other buttons work. I've tried updating on the secret menu, reconnect the Roku stick, changing the remote batteries, and turning off and on everything.

      any advice?

I have 4 TV's with Roku firesticks.  On one the remote will turn on the TV but none of the buttons will let me navigate.  All other TV's and remotes work.  My Device # -- SOJ7348Y1E9R.  My serial # -- X025005Y1E9R.   I got this info from another TV (all purchased at the same time) as I couldn't navigate with the remote to Settings, etc. on the one I am having problems with.  Software version is 15.0.  Roku Firestick Model 3820R2 Streaming Stick 4K.  Looks like the remote model is ABS RF471-T3-03.  Have also changed batteries and unplugged, etc.    The TV is a Samsung, Model Code UN32J5205AFXZA,                version # L503.  Help.  Thanks.

      Please fix this

I actually turned the TV on with the remote and about 3 am I tried to turn tv off and it would not work... It's been going on for about a week now. I have unplugged the TV. Unplugged their roku, I have done everything. So now, when I come home from work, I have to get out of bed and walk over and turn the TV off with my hand which actually honestly makes me so mad. I was considering trying to buy something else. I don't know if an update changes setting or what's happened. But I was able to use this remote and any remote. I wanted to all the time, and then it suddenly quit working. And it don't matter what remote I paired to my TV. It will not work What happened

  • Roku device model: 3820X-Streaming Stick 4K

    Device ID: S08Y425VTX26

     Serial Number: X01700VVTX26

     Software version: 15.0

    TV make/model: LG OLE55B7A-U

    Roku remote model: RC-FA1

    Tracker ID: Not Available

The remote is not functioning with this device. I have attempted to reset it and have removed and replaced the batteries. My iPhone app is functioning. I noticed the lack of connectivity 17OCT2025. No buttons on the remote control function.

Just wanted to report about a week. Ago, my roku remote will no longer turn off my t. V or control volumes have it for about a year now. It's been working fine, and then the other day. It just disappeared, also opened my app to turn off my t. V and the power button disappeared on the app. I'm very upset. It's driving me bonkers. I have done everything to fix it. And I cannot get it fixed. I've had other remotes, nothing works. I have a roku stick in this t. V, it is an older model vizio. TV, it is not a smart TV. It worked fine until the other day.

    Please fix this.

    Thank you
