Roku Wireless Speakers with a TCL TV.
I have a pair of Roku Wireless Speakers and a TCL Roku TV. I am going to purchase a NEW TCL TV that uses Google OS and not Roku. If I understand correctly if I purchase a sound bar the Wireless speakers will work with the new TV. If correct, which sound bar should I purchase? I’ve noticed a couple months after purchasing my Roku wireless speakers, that my right speaker rattles when there’s deep bass on a television show or a movie. I initially thought it was due to the glass and metal table that the speaker sits on, however, I recently picked up the speaker in my hands and the issue persisted. I tried performing a factory, reset several times of both the television and the speakers, however, I am still experiencing this issue. Can someone please assist? Are these covered under any type of warranty? Tony42Views0likes1CommentLeft Roku Wireless Speaker won't stay connected
I have a 55" and 32" TCL TV. The Roku Wireless speakers have been paired to the 55" for 5+ years. Lately the left speaker continues to connect and disconnect from the TV until it finally stays disconnected; the right speaker remains connected, and both speakers say they are paired. I have tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions, and nothing has worked. I finally tried pairing the speakers to the other 32" TV; again, the left speaker would not stay connected. Does this mean the speaker's WiFi is toast and I need to get new speakers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just purchased a new 58 in. Roku. The sound is terrible. The sound effects drowns out the voices of humans. No matter what you are watching. If you turn up volume music and sound effects gets louder and you still have trouble hearing people talking.Solved502Views0likes3CommentsWhich one is better for upgrading, the Streambar or the larger soundbar?
Hello everyone! It's Tuesday, 11/28, and yes I am happy to say that it is my birthday and Im grateful for everything! Currently I have a Roku TV, Streambar (smaller one), the wireless speakers, and the wireless sub. I really like the sound this current set up provides, and the highs and lows are amazing. The wireless speakers are behind the seating area used as surround speakers currently, so this would be a 5.1 setup I guess. Do I replace the streambar with the larger soundbar, or should I purchase another set of the wireless speakers and put them in front, next to the television? Thank you in advance!!!Solved2KViews0likes4CommentsHow do I set up karaoke on Roku TV and Roku wireless speaker?
We like using YouTube on our Roku TV (with Roku wireless speakers) for karaoke - the big screen allows everyone to see the lyrics and sing along and gives our family room a "karaoke box" vibe. However, to this point, we have dealt with playing the karaoke audio through the TV and have a little mics-and-amp portable karaoke set for singing through. It works, but I would love it if there were an elegant solution for us to play both the YouTube videos (or perhaps a dedicated karaoke channel/app) and mic audio through the TV and Roku wireless speakers (even if it means connecting some sort of mixer or receiver into the TV for the mics). Hoping someone has managed to do this and can share knowledge! Tia!986Views0likes1CommentRoku Wireless speakers in Europe
I've posted this before, maybe some at Roku could comment: Roku wireless speakers in Germany It would be interesting to know why there are these restrictions. Software, hardware, radio frequency regulatory restrictions? It looks like the wireless speakers won’t work anywhere in Europe. Why? I could get them shipped from the States, but should I? Roku advertises how great the wireless speakers are on their (US) web site but oddly makes sure you can’t use them in Europe. Why? Will this always be the case? The Streambar by itself is much better than using the built in speakers on my previous set up, but it would be good to have “Immersive surround sound for your Roku home theatre” (quote form Roku US website). Other quotes or highlights from the Roku US website: “Premium sound made simple Expand your Roku TV™ or Roku home theatre” “Surround sound: Combine Roku Wireless Speakers with Roku Streambar Pro and Roku Wireless Subwoofer for deep, rich bass and immersive surround sound”. Not if you’re in Europe I bought the Streambar thinking I could add wireless speakers, it’s on your (US) web site that you can, it’s on youtube that you can, but apparently not if you’re in Europe. Hopefully you can confirm either way that the wireless speakers will or won’t ever be available in Europe. Thanks.Solved1KViews0likes9CommentsAudio issue on Panasonic/Dolby system
I stumbled onto a setting in my Panasonic Dolby System (RX-V479) that might be of help to others….. I have 5 of 6 HDMI inputs FILLED WITH DEVICES. The Panasonic/Dolby decodes audio to 5.1 speakers and selected HDMI output feeds Samsung.. The setting is on Panasonic front panel, not menu. It Might be on other Dolby devices, as well) Called “INFO”, until today I had it selecting HDMI’s custom name. Today I changed it to display decoded audio format 2 seconds after displaying HDMI input name after input switch. If audio fed to it changes it will display what it’s fed. I have all sources set for Dolby Digital output. I can’t say I’ve had format issues, but if Panasonic/Dolby system sees it, it will now display the format it’s given!364Views1like0Comments
