Changing the Wi-Fi router password for smart home cameras

So it looks like if i change my router password i then have to reinstall all my cameras all over again. What brilliant stupidity is this? I have 12 cameras. And also on the app if anyone logs in they cam shut the cameras off from the app 🤔. So besides a signal jammer theres many other ways to exploit these cameras. But to have to reinstall all of them if u think your wifi password is compromised. Fml

Roku Indoor Camera SE will not connect to WIFI for set up

Anyone aware of any alternate firmware for these cameras? I have 2 brand new Roku indoor camera SE’s - I have a 2.4 Ghz network through Comcast/xfinity - Using the app, the camera cannot get connected to the router, ( even though the router logs show “connected” The network name and password have been confirmed, I have many other IoT 2.4 devices connected with no issues. I spent 40 minutes on the support chat but was unable to resolve and finally just disconnected me. Any attempt to reconnect the chat was quickly disconnected again. I am a Senior Systems Engineer with 40 years of IT experience, ( I worked at NASA ! ) so I am pretty sure I have my network working correctly ! Relying SOLELY on a poorly coded app without an alternate connection method ( such as SSH or TFTP or even HTTP ) is pretty sloppy - I have no choice but to return the camera and tell my client to buy products that are actually supported. ( My bill for the time is already more than 100 of these cameras !)

Error code 20202 on Roku Wire-Free Video Doorbell SE

I am getting error code 20202, problem with wireless network. I follow all the steps to reset it including resetting the router. The only thing I found that works is if I delete everything, including the device in the app and reinstall everything. That works for a few days to a few weeks before it happens again. The Wi-Fi router is literally right next to the chime plugin, and the doorbell is less than 5 ft away from both of those. I haven't even had this for a year and it's caused nothing but problems. It will ring when someone presses the doorbell, but the camera almost never comes up. I'm at my wit's end with this, I do hard resets to fix it and then it goes right back doing what it was before. I've checked the settings in the app and everything is correct. According to the app it's connected to the internet and the signal is strong. Is there any suggestions besides what's already written down, because those don't work.

    Outdoor camera freezing up

I have had this camera for a couple of years now. All of the sudden I have experienced a lot of freezing up during live stream. I'll be watching and either it will freeze for a few minutes or just a few seconds and other times it will return to the home screen. What can I do?

The floodlight camera cannot connect to my WiFi

I bought this in mid 2024 and am just setting it up. The physical setup went fine. When I try to add it to my Roku app, it gets through the scan fine, but it will not connect to my mesh, deco 3000. I’ve done everything suggested, including rebooting to router, disconnecting and reconnecting the mesh. Changing the mesh password, etc, etc. it just won’t. I suspect a firmware/software issue, but since I can’t get the connection to work, I can’t update. Is there an answer for this?

    Roku Doorbells Error Code 20005

I have had 2 wired indoor cameras with 2 legs and a 360 camera. I live in an apartment. I just bought a wire free doorbell that I connected to the same wifi I connected all my other cameras to. I go through the whole setup process, connecting to wifi and all, and when I try to watch my camera live it says i’m not connected to wifi. My chime is plugged in right next to my wifi box. I have no issue what so ever through the setup process until I want to watch it live. I’ve reached out to support trying different things. They thought it was wired indoor cameras the actual doorbell wrong so they sent me a new one. So this is the same thing happening in 2 different cameras. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?
