Crave App Viewing Options Gray
My app has a large number of gray boxes instead of showing actual content. If you click on them you get an message that something went wrong. I have tried suggestions provided by support but no luck. I use Media Monkey (MM) on my computer and Android Phones. I also have it setup as a DLNA Server and use Roku Media Player (RMP) on 3 different Roku Devices. Everything works exactly as expected with the exception of the Song Order with the Playlists on the RMP and Shuffle is not on either. The sort Order on all three RMBs are set to Default, however I cannot make heads or tales out of the actual order. It does not match MM on my computer or phones. If I change the sort order to AtoZ or ZtoA options it is correct for those options, but when using Default it appears to be random with the exception of the first song which is always correct. After that I can not figure it out. It is not alphabetical, file location, file size, bit rate, Title, Artist, Album, Genre, Year or Track #. It also is not the file date, timestamp, VBR or CBR. All other metadata on the mp3s are empty. BTW, I only use Track # on my mp3s in MM if it is an entire album where it is important, ie: Abbey Road or a Prog album so some have it but most do not. I do not understand why RMP does not use the Playlist Sequence used in Media Monkey, but I also can not figure out what the Default sort order is actually using. If I knew that, maybe I could use that to correct the sequence of my Playlists in RMB. However, it would be much better if the Playlists just played in the sequence defined on the DLNA Server. Murdock mysteries on Roku Channel is syncing to some other series or storyline. We tried to watch it on a Roku TV and a TV with roku stick. I am hard of hearing and rely on CC. I'm also really addicted to this series. This phenomenon just happened in the last couple of days. I've followed the reset instructions given from this board, and nothing changes. I'm to the point where I'm about to get rid of every roku device I own because this is so incredibly frustrating. I have followed so many threads here, on reddit, and various other places and have tried EVERYTHING. This is clearly a known issue that has been around for a very long time and I'm pretty frustrated that it hasn't been resolved by any update to date. I have the home settings for closed captions set to off and I'm only using each apps closed captioning options, or using the * button if they don't have one (like Disney+). Why do you close replies so quick? There was a simple request, supported by many Roku customers including myself, to delete the annoying "because you watched" tab, simple, but the support person starts with "can you explain..." lmao... explain what??? It was simple... don't act like you don't understand... and then close replies. What an unprofessional way of dealing with stuff. You guys really suck at this customer service stuff. You're great at ramming stuff in customers' faces, but at understanding customer needs or requests... and then to close replies as customers rant about your lack of support... dumb, just straight out dumb. Also, what's with showing listed movies that when I click on them, I have to pay for??? WTAF??? Try adding a tab like, Extras, or For a Small Fee? Stop showing me movies that I get excited for, only to find they are not included!!! In the Roku Youtube App, more often than not a vid will say there are comments but when you click to read them, they don't exist. At first I assumed they might be comments that were deleted/censored/marked offensive but after reading the comments posted here, it seems it's an app problem. Does anyone have a fix for this or is it just a prob yt isn't addressing for some reason? Some comments are there, others are blank. A vid might say 7 comments but only 5 are visible. Others say 25 comments and every one of them is there. Anyone know what's up with that?Solved35Views1like1Comment
