    New Roku Express not connecting to network that old Roku Express connects to happily.

    My partner’s dad really liked my Roku Express so I bought him his own one for when we have left after Christmas. Mine connects fine. The new one straight out of the box will not detect any networks at all. It briefly detected all local networks, refused to connect and will now not even display a list of local networks at all. If I click “Scan again” i get a pop up that says “Looking for wireless networks…” which flashes up for barely a split second and then disappears. It won’t connect when I select “Private Network” and type in the SSID and password either. We are certain we are typing the correct password. This persists even after router reset and Roku reset. I know it’s not an issue with the 2.4GHz/5GHz network banding as the other Express connects just fine. Is the new Roku broken?

    Roku immediately disconnects from WiFi after connecting

    I have had my HDMI Roku for a couple years now with no previous issues. Just in the past couple months, it is always disconnected from WiFi upon turning it on as well as during use. After I connect it to the internet, it immediately starts blinking again and I get the pop-up to set up a connection or proceed anyway. Usually, it works somehow as if it really is still connected, but tonight it is not working at all and it is getting incredibly annoying. I have tried absolutely everything - restarting, unplugging, my software is always up to date, etc etc etc. And I cannot do anything about my router as I live in an apartment complex…again, this was never an issue before on this same WiFi, so I strongly believe it is the Roku bugging, and I am seriously considering a factory reset or sending it for a repair (if Roku even does that)/buying a new one. No other devices of mine have internet connectivity issues, ever. So it has to be something wrong with the Roku. It doesn’t even stay connected for five seconds. Has anyone experienced this at the same incessant level and found a fix!? Thanks!! Roku Express (3930, 3931 series) Express 4K+

    Roku mobile app connectivity issue

    Roku Streambar Pro Works perfectly, updated, all apps on the device function and work with no issues. However. Despite it saying I have excellent signal and everything working the device will not pass a connection test, after 5 minutes or so it will pass the available networks scan but will fail on the Wireless Connection. When I attempt to set up a new connection it will not even pull up the available networks list. This matters because with recent updates my phone app (Android) no longer finds any of my Roku devices on my network. This is a new issue and I was using my app for months with no problems. I have made no changes to my wireless network and all of my Rokus are on the network and functioning, but none show up in the app. I have reset my devices and phone, un-installed the app and reinstalled it on my phone. I have checked the advanced settings for my Roku and modified them to be always available on my network and nothing seems to work.

    Roku connection to WIFI and mixed signals on the troubleshooting steps on both systems

    Overnight, something happened (no reports of storm activity) to my ROKU and my Google Pro Mesh network. I had multiple failures concerning connecting to ROKU. I've tried multiple players and none of my four Roku devices will connect to the service. All TVs report they have strong connection to WIFI, but I don't trust that evaluation because half of my google pro nest WIFI doesn't show up on my google home app. Also, my Roku only shows two Roku devices. I have four TV's. Any help would be appreciated.

    Cant Download and Update Software

    Same problem it downloads everything and then comes Error007. If I restart I am able to browser everything but it never gets updated.

    Won't connect to the wifi any more, but it works on my phone's hotspot. Other Rokus and devices here still connect with no issues or adjustments. What changed in 2 hours? Not the password, not the router settings, not the TV. Swapped the HDMI cable, did all the resets. Even changed the wifi password. Still zilch on this one Express connecting with the correct password. What did I miss?

    WiFi Hotspot Roku Channel

    Hi All I have a Roku Ultra 4640X that was working fine for years on our mobile hotspots on 2 separate phones. A few days ago I noticed when phone 1 the Roku channel, Live TV and Streaming Channels do not load with the “failed to load content message” Other channels seem to be fine. If I try to remove the Roku channel I receive a no no connection message. Even though immediately the “ testing connection” option works fine The other hotspot on phone 2 continues to work well on all channels. At first I thought it was the Ad Blockers or Opera Browser with VPN I removed those then tried the following. I have… reset the network settings on the phone twice renamed the hotspot multiple times factory reset the Roku readded the Roku device on the website unplugged power to Ultra overnight Device Model: 4640X Serial Number: YP008P759042 Device ID: 7LC6987759042 I have exhausted all my theories. Hoping an expert can assist Thanks! I

    No networks show up after scanning

    Hello, my Roku express 4k+ 2021 won't connect to my WiFi, meanwhile my phone is connected and showing 12 other networks. I tried restarting it, restarting my WiFi, network connection reset, and nothing has made a difference. When I hit the “scan again button” the loading screen appears for a second before disappearing and showing no WiFi networks, not mine or my neighbors. this issue happens occasionally but usually is fixed by a restart

    Wireless Network troubleshooting Netgear AX1800 router

    I'm having issues connecting to my wifi. My Roku is a Roku Express (3930, 3931 series) # I'm using a Netgear AX1800 router. For my phone, I had to change the wifi settings to use the device's MAC address. It sees the network, but when I enter the password it will not connect. None of the stages have a checkmark when it fails.
