The Roku Channel is temporarily unavailable on Samsung TV
On my Samsung QN90AA-50 using the Roku app, none of the on-demand content can be viewed. It shows the Spinning Circle of Serenity until it finally times out. Most of the live streaming channels show a black screen with the program information and the transport bar (no sound either). Every now and then a commercial will show and then back to the black screen. A few streaming channels like This Old House Classic still work, but not the current This Old House channel or the Dateline channel. I have deleted and re-installed the app twice with no change. Roku signed me off my Hulu app now when i log in i get a message saying try again later? this happened before and im waiting for a response to get this error fixed. Would ROKU please add the streaming channels from Root Sports and AT&T Sportsnet? Both of these channels are owned or co-owned by WarnerMedia, which owns CNN, TNT, TBS, and HBO MAX channels. The Spotify channel you click on it and it just doesn’t do anything on the title screen. I have taken remove the channel & put it back on. Not sure if this is related, but the other day late at night a RUM micro site app appeared on my Home Screen. It was where my Netflix app is usually displayed on my Home Screen (first). I went to options and removed it. I can’t recall if I actually clicked on the app or not. The next morning, and continuing since then, Netflix won’t work on my Roku. The RUM app is no longer there, but Netflix just won’t work. When clicking on Netflix I either get a black page, or with patience my queue comes on but only one preview displays on the Home Screen… nothing else appears, there are no images; it’s just black and gray and the title of the category/row. As you keep scrolling down, it’s the same thing over and over. But oddly, when clicking on a movie (hitting enter on remote) whatever I selected plays fine. The problem is, I have no idea what I am selecting because THERE ARE NO TITLES and the Home Screen is black. It’s hit or miss on my other Roku in another room. It either won’t open at all and I get an error message NW-8-20 (or something like that). Or it’s black boxes and not titles just like the above. These are the things I have tried to remedy this: I reset my Netflix password. I updated the Netflix app. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Netflix app. I have unplugged the Roku stick waited a couple minutes and replugged in. I did system restart from menu I went to settings and manually checked for update. Nothing is working - still - it very frustrating. I should also note that our other Roku in another room is also giving an error message when Netflix is clicked. What’s going on? How do I fix this? Why is my Netflix Home Screen going wack? I am having the same problem. Followed your instructions, deleted channel, went to settings and restarted the Roku from there, reinstalled BBC America, and still have the same problem as described by OP – channel opens, stutters/flashes a couple times, circle shows slowly loading and after a half-second flash of content squares, goes back to the home screen.2.2KViews0likes21CommentsChannel Add Button greyed out for F1 TV
I'm having the same issue. I'm in SA where F1 is available. Did you ever sort this problem out? I am seriously regretting buying this TV box when they can't be bothered to offer support in most countries nor are you warned before you buy it.
